Policoro in Swing – the joy of meeting and playing with new musicians

It’s just wonderful to meet and play with new musicians. I was delighted to jam and then play with the Madrid Hot Jazz Band and the Dusty Jazz Blasters from Turin at Policoro in Swing Festival 2016.
Musicians and bands bring their own styles, grooves and colors to a song. For me as a singer this is wonderful, because it means connecting and interpreting a song in a different way to that which you are used to. Especially when you’re singing with another singer, in this case the wonderful Lara Luppi.
