2018- New Year, full of wonderful surprises

I make a matter of trying to find the original score sheets worldwide, for all of the songs I sing. I buy them and have them mailed to friends’ houses throughout the world. Then they pdf them to me… it’s cheaper that way 🙂
I collect the originals to ensure that when I study a song, I’m being faithful to what was originally written and composed, and to (re)find the heart of the song, if you will.

This one I couldn’t find anywhere until one day, a few weeks ago, this happened….

“I’ll Be A Friend With Pleasure” , one of the first Classic jazz pieces I ever heard… written by the gifted composer Maceo Pinkard in 1926.

I’m thrilled to have finally found this score sheet.

Time to study !
